Prestigious designers, high-end retailers and chic boutiques across 13 countries united for one very special evening this September. Fashion’s Night Out was a unique initiative by Vogue and Anna Wintour to celebrate the global fashion industry. From Milan to Mumbai, the fashion capitals of the world came together on 10 September to host in-store parties, makeovers, catwalk shows, live music and art installations. There were guest appearances from celebrities, designers, models and Vogue editors, who offered styling advice along with exclusive giveaways and competitions.
In London, most of the events took place in and around W1, with over 200 fashion brands participating on Bond Street, Oxford Street, Regent Street, Mount Street, Bruton Street and Conduit Street, as well as Knightsbridge, Sloane Street and Marylebone High Street.
Amanda Wakeley was at her concession in Harvey Nichols. Following on from her successful meet the designer events across the UK, she appeared at the store to get to know her customers, to talk through her new designs and to showcase her forthcoming collection.
