Office Manager
London

Position of Office Manager at Amanda Wakeley, answering chiefly to Ahlya Fateh (CEO), Chitra Ramachandran (Head of Finance) and Amanda Wakeley (Founder and Creative Director). To be based at AW Retail Head Office, SW1. To ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office and wider company and to implement and develop administrative structures that are not yet in place.

Typical tasks:
• Meet and greet visitors and be the first point of contact for the office
• Answer the intercom and reception phone and emails
• Monitor staff sick days and holidays
• Book meetings and manage the calendar of meeting rooms
• Manage the office grocery and stationary orders
• Make grocery or supplies orders on behalf of the Amanda Wakeley retail stores based on Albemarle Street and Fulham Road and the concession in Harvey Nichols London
• Support and maintain IT and network functions
• Coordinate HR duties for the office including training and workshops
• Manage maintenance of all office appliances
• Organise internal office events such as leaving or birthday parties
• Carry out ad hoc tasks as instructed by AF, CR of AW

Objectives:
• To develop standard administrative procedures for office management
• To re-organise and create a filing system for office documents
• To implement health & safety procedures and assure that we meet set health & safety standards
• To complete the Amanda Wakeley archive – scanning press clippings and inputting them on an existing database

Ladies Wear Garment Tech
London

Amanda Wakeley is a luxury life style brand with a ready to wear collection of timeless signature elegance. We have an exciting opportunity for a Ladies Wear Garment Tech. with the minimum of 7 years’ experience with Evening dresses, Day wear and Knitwear, to join our technical team to develop garments from initial prototype through to production, working to a critical path.

Role Responsibilities:

• To support Design and Pattern Cutters in the creation of accurate design specs, 1st Prototype patterns, garment construction, fit and grading

• Ensure Brand Quality and performance standards are met

• Ensure product is developed to meet the Brands standards

• Creating and maintaining the Tech Pack

• Ensuring the most appropriate construction methods are used in line with the brand qualities

• Suggesting modifications to designs if needed whilst considering potential cost implications

• Generating the size chart. Maintaining the brand Size and Fit standards with the development of measuring guides, blocks, size charts and grade rules

• Leading the fitting of samples, analyse the quality and performance level of samples to ensure the Brand requirements are accurately met

• Communicate all needs to the supply base

• Overseeing fabric and garment testing with close analysis of results

• Supporting the Sales team in analysing product returns and faults

• Control of the technical critical path, ensuring ‘on track’ sealing of the garment

• You will work closely with Design and Production and the external Suppliers

Graphic Designer
London

Based in the London Head Office, this role sits within the Marketing team at Amanda Wakeley. You will be responsible for all graphic design output within the business including retail and online marketing elements and large scale retail graphics.

Role Responsibilities:
• Creating visual outcomes across print and digital formats to support the Amanda Wakeley brand
• Developing new concepts in line with seasonal changes and producing marketing elements across print and digital to support all campaign launches and branding as and when needed
• Designing lookbooks, invitations, newsletters and marketing assets across print and digital channels
• Creating large-format graphics for retail and events
• Retouching and maintaining image quality across the e-store
• Packaging design and quotes acquiring
• Maintain a good working relationships with suppliers and key people in the business

Minimum Requirements
• BA Hons or above in Graphic Design
• 3-4+ Years Experience as a Graphic Designer in a luxury retail environment
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong typographic and layout skills
• Strong knowledge of print processes and finishes
• A flexible and resilient approach to work with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
• Knowledge of the brand and a high understanding and appreciation of its aesthetics

Sales Adviser

London

We are currently looking for Sales Advisers with an experience in luxury sales to join our Amanda Wakeley Team in our London stores.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Providing our client the highest standard of customer service at all times.
• Develop loyalty and building relationships with customers.
• To demonstrate product knowledge on the brand and to have an awareness of Fashion and trends.
• Introduce add-on sales and meeting and exceeding sales in line with individual and store targets.
• Follow all stock management procedures.
• Maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping and retail standards within the store.
• To work within a team environment and make a positive contribution.
• Back of house work with replenishment and deliveries.
• To carry out any additional duties as directed by the management team.

Experience Required:
• Previous experience within luxury fashion
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills

• Strong knowledge of fashion and trends

Sales Adviser/ Part Time
Harvey Nichols Edinburgh  – Amanda Wakeley Concession

Sale Adviser required for a concession within a luxury department store, working 3 days out of 7 (total of 24 hours a week).

We are looking for someone with energy, initiative and excellent customer service and a true love for our luxury brand.

Duties will include giving first class customer service and keeping the concession replenished and ensure high level of store standard are maintained. Some paperwork will be involved. Computer skills would be an advantage.

Previous experience in luxury retail is preferable.

Harvey Nichols London – Amanda Wakeley Concession

Sales Adviser required for a concession within our luxury department store, working five days a week for a total of 40 hours a week (day off will vary depending on the business needs. Bank holidays, Sundays, late evening, special events).

We are looking for someone with energy, initiative and excellent customer service and a true love for our luxury brand.

Merchandising Internship
Head Office London

We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly students with good communications and numerical skills, searching for merchandising admin experience. This role requires 3 to 6 months internship and you will support the Merchandising and Buying Team.

• Processing daily sales on SAP

• Monitoring inter-branch and warehouse stock transfers

• Assisting with the preparation for the Retail Managers Meeting

• Dealing with general store requests

• Processing allocations and maintaining the retail deliveries sheet

• Organising Samples for each season

• Collating style bibles at the beginning of each season

Fulham Road Store, London

A placement at Amanda Wakeley Sposa gives you first hand insight into the operations of a flourishing Bridal business. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable intern to join our team . You must be enrolled on a degree course and looking for a placement as part of your degree.

Main duties:

Assisting with general office duties
Daily upkeep of the bridal showroom
Assisting at company events, either in-house or elsewhere
Packing dresses for trunk shows, dress orders, wholesale and press loans
Undertaking research projects for the Sposa team
