Wholesale Admin & Sales Executive – Amanda Wakeley

An exciting opportunity to join the Wholesale department for this established, UK Lifestyle Luxury Brand. Happy to work as part of a small team, to provide all administrative and some direct sales support. Must be able and willing to work independently, with new and existing international clients. Key relationships with merchandising, finance, marketing, technical and production. Strong administrative experience is essential, SAP literate and advanced Excel knowledge including Pivot tables. Direct sales experience an advantage.

Responsibilities include

Administration & Customer Service:
o Process orders and re-orders both online with SAP and offline, if needed and send out Order Confirmations to clients.
o Responsible for checking all wholesale orders have been correctly placed and ordered via the merchandising team.
o Inform clients of any substitutions or cancellations.

Sales:
o Present and sell the Seasonal Collections to Independent Boutiques and assist with key account clients when needed.
o Target new clients actively via email and follow up by telephone.
o Update the target database to ensure accuracy of all details.
o Schedule and confirm market appointments with all existing and potential clients.
o Liaise with design and production to ensure Linesheets are complete in advance of market and updated as necessary on JOOR.

The Ideal Candidate
o 2-3+ years luxury wholesale womenswear experience in an international environment
o Strong sense of initiative and happy to work with minimal supervision
o Excellent Administrative skills and knowledge of logistics
o Essential: Advanced Excel, working knowledge of SAP
o Passionate with strong brand / product awareness
o Confident and resourceful with excellent communication / presentation skills
o Direct sales and business development experience
o A flair for Visual Merchandising
o Dedicated, flexible, hardworking and committed – willing to “go the extra mile”
o Willing to take on additional responsibilities as required
o Language skills an advantage

STORE MANAGERS – HARVEY NICHOLS LONDON & HARVEY NICHOLS EDINBURGH

Summary / Primary Purpose:

The Store Manager leads the store by maximizing store productivity and profitability through teambuilding and staff development, goal attainment, and by ensuring compliance with all Amanda Wakeley standards. The Store Manager leads by example, sets the tone for the store, and provides feedback to their team that will result in more efficient, productive, and profitable stores that exceed Amanda Wakeley Service expectations. It is the role of the Store Manager to protect the Service environment by consistently making decisions that enhance the customer’s experience in the store and with the brand.  The Store Manager develops plans to achieve sales and productivity goals, utilizes payroll effectively, and works closely with the Head of Retail to evaluate market information and create strategies that can impact store results.

Must exceed subordinate position’s behavioural expectations

  • Takes ownership and accountability for store productivity
  • Consistently executes company sales training programs
  • Demonstrates empowerment to solve customer problems and meet customers’ needs
  • Effectively manages staff to build relationships with customers

Summary / Primary Purpose:

To support the  Store by maximizing store productivity and profitability through teambuilding and staff development, goal attainment, and by ensuring compliance with all Amanda Wakeley standards.

Provide feedback to your Store Manager and to support the team to ensure you are exceeding Amanda Wakeley Service expectations. To protect the Service environment by consistently making decisions that enhance the customer’s experience in the store and with the brand.

Must have experience in Bridal

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing our client the highest standard of customer service at all times.
  • Develop loyalty and building relationships with customers with both Bridal and RTW customers.
  • To demonstrate product knowledge on the brand and to have an awareness of Fashion and trends.
  • Able to confidentially take Bridal appointments to help the Bride find her perfect Amanda Wakeley wedding dress.
  • Introduce add-on sales and meeting and exceeding sales in line with individual and store targets.
  • Follow all stock management procedures.
