STORE MANAGER - BICESTER (Full Time)

We are currently recruiting for Full Time Store manager for our new store opening in Bicester Shopping Village.

To manage a successful Amanda Wakeley store by:

  • Achieving  monthly sales and profit budgets both individually and for the store
  • Managing both the short and long term development of the team, ensuring that each individual is of excellent quality
  • Ensuring that the Amanda Wakeley sales process is followed by all staff members
  • Delivering a high percentage of satisfied returning customers
  • Promoting the Amanda Wakeley brand both in the local community and beyond by active local Marketing
  • Creating a store with a positive work environment for the staff and excellent team morale

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Sales

    • Assist and encourage the staff to meet their monthly sales objectives
    • Regularly and frequently conduct one to one coaching and feedback sessions with each team member using the tools provided
    • All discounts (except for Company announced campaigns) must follow the Store Management Guidelines unless specifically approved by your Regional/Line Manager
    • Build and /maintain a strong and accurate customer database
    • Understand and practice the processes of solution selling. These techniques and skills are to be continually used to maximize all opportunities for upselling and add on selling with both new and existing customers.
    • Seek out sales opportunities and build long lasting relationships with customers and potential customers – the Manager should seek to develop a positive profile in the local community 
    • Ensure that any Customer Complaints are managed according to company procedures and time frames laid down in the Company Policies and Procedures document

    Stock

    • Maintain a good understanding, knowledge and quality of the store stock, to making recommendations
    • Ensure that all stock management & placement meets Company Policies and Procedures

    Installations and repairs

    • Oversee the fitting of products. 
    • Maintain a strong relationship with the Amanda Wakeley Service Partner, seeking to integrate this service with the sales and after sales process.

    Finance

    • Understand the fundamentals of business finance as it relates to the operation of the Amanda Wakeley store
    • Allocate the monthly store target fairly between all team members to create individual targets
    • Use the company commission scheme to motivate each team member to strive to achieve their sales goals.

    Staff

    • Source and employ high quality staff and guide them through the company induction programs
    • Motivate staff by delivering an excellent working environment with a positive atmosphere
    • Assist and encourage the staff to meet their sales objectives
    • Deliver clearly defined work tasks and job descriptions for staff
    • Instigate and manage regular and frequent role play sessions in store to ensure that the staff use and continuously expand their skills, to help with the induction of new sales associates and to support the development of more experienced team members
    • Utilize existing disciplinary procedures to progressively manage underperforming staff.

    Store Standards

    • Ensure that the store is clean at all times and complies fully with current VM guidelines and timekeeping policies.
    • Comply with all centrally launched Amanda Wakeley campaigns promptly
    • Ensure that an adequate stock of company advertising and display materials are available and displayed according to Company Policies and Procedures

    IT/administration

    • Ensure that all staff use Amanda Wakeley provided systems daily – this includes the Retail System, CRM, sales support etc.
    • Ensure that all requested documents and reports are completed and submitted on time according to Company Policies and Procedures

    Training

    • Complete all mandatory training sessions delivered by Amanda Wakeley plus any suggested by the Management
    • Ensure that the entire staff is always up to date with training requirements, new season products, events etc

    Local promotion and advertising

    • Be responsible for the development and execution of the store Marketing plan in consultation with your line Manager (Marketing campaigns with alliance partners are subject to approval by the Line Manager)
    • Create local awareness of the shop and brand by planning & hosting events both in the shop and externally 
    • Any materials used should be authorised by head office

    Other

    • Ensure that all staff fully understand and follow all Company Policies and Procedures at all times, in particular those relating to Occupational Health and Safety, Trade Practices Act, Discrimination and Harassment and GDPR Privacy Laws
    • Ensure that the personal appearance of all team members including the Manager is in accordance with the Company Policies and Procedures
    • Ensure that the Company Policies and Procedures for the security of products, cash and credit card transactions, client correspondence and company records are followed at all times

We are currently recruiting for Part Time Sales Advisors for our new store opening in Bicester Shopping Village.

Your role will be to support the Store Manager with the daily running of the store with a view to delivering exceptional customer service and maximising productivity. Previous experience in luxury retail is preferable; however passion for the brand and a strong understanding of excellent customer service is key.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Communicate company standards across the store
  • Liaise and build relationships with customers
  • Be an ambassador for the brand at all times

Job requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Be a team player and also be able to self-motivate
  • Being commercially aware with a view to increasing KPI’s
  • Maximising all sales at every opportunity to ensure you are meeting and exceeding your personal and store targets.
  • To ensure visual presentation, store maintenance and housekeeping is kept to the company's desired standard, both on and off the shop floor

Your role will be to support the concession manager with the daily running of the concession with a view to delivering exceptional customer service and maximising productivity. Previous experience in luxury retail is preferable and a passion for the brand and a strong understanding of excellent customer service is key.

We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Sales Assistant for our concession at Harvey Nichols London. This position will be for 40 hours, 5 days a week.

Your role will be to support the concession manager with the daily running of the concession with a view to delivering exceptional customer service and maximising productivity. 5 years of previous experience in luxury retail is needed and passion for the brand and a strong understanding of excellent customer service is key.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Communicate company standards across the store
  • Liaise and build relationships with customers
  • Be an ambassador for the brand at all times

Job requirements:
