PRODUCT DEVELOPER

Deliver a cost effective and timely product, from sketches and development to range review, in line with the critical path, the merchandising plan and the sample budgets.

Working closely with the Design Team to develop and source sample fabrics, linings and trimmings for Ready-to-Wear (RTW) including woven accessories plus bridal and new projects. Working within the parameters of the critical path, sample budget and B&M range plan and the commercial goals of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate all seasonal details to the Production Manager and Technical team throughout development.
  • Attend fabric and accessory fairs and be aware of seasonal trends. Also be aware of competitors catwalk shows, magazine advertising and in store collections.
  • Create and maintain a Range Plan for each delivery for each season.
  • Plan and book sampling space with factories.
  • Liaise daily with mills to approve lab dips, strike offs and co-ordinate delivery of sampling fabric.
  • Trim up all specification packs prior to submitting to factories.
  • Ensure salesman samples are received in time for the range presentations and log receipt.
  • Maintain fabric files with sampling cuttings.
  • Create BOM/Costing sheets for each style.
  • Create and complete costing sheet for the Retail and Wholesale teams in time for Range Reviews.
  • Attend Range Review presentations. Take production notes and feedback to update the range plan and ensure correct information is communicated to the Production Manager.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years Product Development experience in womenswear
  • Highly organised, demonstrating the ability to prioritise, manage and coordinate diverse activities simultaneously whilst also keeping a 360 view of the entire development process and progress
  • Agile, adaptable and capable of multi-tasking and coordinating different projects with cross functional teams; partnering closely with the design team
  • Solution orientated – problem solver, flexible, adaptable and resilient
  • Passionate about product with the confidence to fully engage in the process and have an impact
  • Strong IT skills including Office (Excel mainly), Illustrator and Photoshop

SALE ASSISTANT - HARVEY NICHOLS LONDON (Full Time)

We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Sales Assistant for our concession at Harvey Nichols London. This position will be for 40 hours, 5 days a week.

Your role will be to support the concession manager with the daily running of the concession with a view to delivering exceptional customer service and maximising productivity. 5 years of previous experience in luxury retail is needed and passion for the brand and a strong understanding of excellent customer service is key.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Communicate company standards across the store
  • Liaise and build relationships with customers
  • Be an ambassador for the brand at all times

Job requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Be a team player and also be able to self-motivate
  • Maximising all sales at every opportunity to ensure you are meeting and exceeding your personal and store targets.
  • To ensure visual presentation, store maintenance and housekeeping is kept to the company's desired standard, both on and off the shop floor
  • Adhere to host store policies and procedures

SALE CONSULTANT - HARVEY NICHOLS LEEDS

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Consultant for our concession opening in Harvey Nichols, Leeds. The position will be for 32 hrs, 4 x 8 hr days.

Your role will be to support the concession manager with the daily running of the concession with a view to delivering exceptional customer service and maximising productivity. Previous experience in luxury retail is preferable; however passion for the brand and a strong understanding of excellent customer service is key.
